Boehringer Ingelheim
Boehringer Ingelheim Ltd, one of the UK's most innovative pharmaceutical companies, has improved the management of its internal recruitment process by choosing to adopt HotLizard's intelligent corporate recruitment software application, NetResourcer.
The pharmaceutical giant, who has been listed in the Sunday Times "Best Company to Work for Survey" on a number of occasions, was looking for a corporate recruitment solution that would enable it to manage the resourcing of new staff effectively and reduce the amount of time that its HR department had to spent on administration.
HotLizard's NetResourcer Corporate recruitment software was the obvious solution, as not only could it aid the HR department in the management of its internal recruitment process but it could also be fully integrated with its corporate career website to provide an automated online recruitment process. This means that all candidates' details are automatically sent to and stored within NetResourcer upon application through the website. This new solution streamlines the application process, enabling full database integration and significantly reducing administration times for recruiters.
Boehringer continue to take advantage of NetResourcer's enhanced functionality, using the system to manage its entire recruitment process whilst creating a talent bank, storing the individual details of candidates for future use. Integrating NetResourcer with the careers section of its website has allowed it to speed up the whole recruitment process and maximise exposure to candidates. The website itself was designed and built to comply with accessibility guidelines and to attract candidates through Search Engine Optimisation, reducing the need to rely on third party job boards and recruitment agencies.
NetResourcer supports Boehringer's workflow from job requisition to placement, and enables the HR recruitment team to create and approve vacancies, advertise jobs online through job boards, and handle the short-listing and interview process with line managers. The system's agency interface allows external agencies to view vacancies, submit candidate details, track progress and monitor their performance through comprehensive management reporting, while its line manager interface gives line managers the facility to submit vacancies, view shortlists, provide feedback and request interviews.
Providing visibility of the recruitment and approvals process to all parties involved has allowed Boehringer to improve efficiency and streamline the way it manages the hiring of new employees.
